Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts specialize in designing, implementing, and supervising all programs used to help our learners overcome challenges, unlock their potential, and shine like the stars they are! These are the friendly faces that will be with you and your learner every step of the way, including to provide parent support.

Rachael

Carmen Thomas

Director, M.A., BCBA, LBA

Carmen Thomas is a passionate BCBA with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas and a Master's in Applied Behavioral Science from Ball State University. She completed her practicum

in KU's early autism program before earning her BCBA certification. With over twelve years of experience—including roles in the Olathe School District, a private autism center, and extensive volunteer work—Carmen brings a wealth of knowledge, insight, and empathy to

her role. And as a lifelong advocate for individuals with disabilities, she is passionately committed to creating supportive environments where children with diverse needs can thrive and reach their full potential.


Outside of work, Carmen is an avid animal lover who supports Great Plains SPCA, enjoys cheering on

KU basketball, and treasures time with her

family and beloved cat, Binks!

Taylor

Taylor Daugherty

Assistant Director, M.A., BCBA, LBA

Taylor is a driven and caring BCBA who holds a B.S. in Honors Psychology from Missouri Western State University. She completed her practicum fieldwork at SCCD before joining our team as a Registered Behavior Technician, later expanding her knowledge and skills by earning her M.A. in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas. Taylor’s favorite part of her job is teaching learners to communicate in new and meaningful ways. She says, “The joy that comes from teaching a client to effectively communicate their wants and needs is indescribable.” In her free time, Taylor enjoys going to concerts, cooking new recipes, exploring new restaurants in Kansas City with friends, spending time at the lake with her family, and watching football games with her husband.

Maycee Earl

M.A., BCBA, LBA

Maycee is a dedicated BCBA with a background in psychology and applied behavior analysis. She holds a B.S. from Northwest Missouri State University and completed her M.A. with an emphasis in Autism at Ball State University. She began her career at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe Meyer Institute before bringing her talents to Kansas City, joining our team first as a registered behavior technician, and then as a behavior analyst. Beyond her work, she enjoys creative pursuits like painting and cake decorating, and above all, loves spending time with her baby boy!

Addie is a compassionate BCBA who earned her B.A in Applied Behavioral Science at KU, and found her true calling in autism support while observing the Kansas Early Autism Program during her time on campus. Addie earned her M.S. in Psychology, with a focus on Applied Behavioral Analysis, from Capella University while on our team at SCCD as a registered behavior technician. Beyond her dedication to making a positive impact, Addie enjoys cooking, watching shows, spending quality time with loved ones, and playing with her adorable dog, Weller!

Sarah Lambrecht

M.A., BCBA, LBA

Sarah Lambrecht is a dedicated BCBA who earned her B.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Kansas and an M.A. in Special Education with a focus on Behavioral Analysis from Arizona State University. Her journey into ABA began during her time at KU, where working with toddlers at the Edna A. Hill Child Development Center sparked her passion for helping children grow and thrive. She first joined SCCD as a summer intern before becoming a full-time RBT while pursuing her master’s degree, officially becoming a BCBA in 2024. For Sarah, the most rewarding part of her work is celebrating each learner’s progress and seeing the positive changes that ripple into their daily lives. Outside of work, she loves running, being outdoors, spending time with her dog Creed, and visiting her family and friends back home in Minnesota.
